Summer Love
This has been the best summer OF MY LIFE. AND I am not exaggerating. I LOVE spending every second of my day with Lilli. Yes, at times, she can be difficult, but it’s all worth it. She is so much fun right now. She has such a funny personality and it comes out more and more everyday. I really wish I could be a stay at home mom. I always thought that it would be hardest to leave her and go to work while she was an infant, but the truth is it’s still hard. It will always be hard. Whether she’s 3 months, 1 year, 2 years, etc. I have to leave her with someone that is not her mommy. There’s always going to be a phase that I will see less of when I’m at work. If I lived in my little fantasy world I would stay at home with her until she started Kindergarten. I try not to dwell on these thoughts, but I have to be honest they do cross my mind nearly everyday. That is why I have to take advantage of this too-short month of July and savor every moment I have with her.

Oh yes! Please enjoy every single moment you have with your beautiful little one. Lilli looks like such a darling! I used to be an elementary school teacher myself, so I understand how valuable these summer vacations can be. Live life with your family to the fullest. Especially make this time super worthwhile because children grow up so fast and from what I’ve read, I can only assume that you will. I wish you the best!

You are a great Mommie. As the kids Grandpa, I have pretty high expectations for my kids and you always exceed my hopes.
